Acceptable Use Policy — दृष्टि (Drishti)
Annexed to and forming part of the Terms of Service.
Effective date: 10 September 2026
1. Review integrity — the rules we will not bend
Drishti will not help you manipulate reviews, and using it to try is a breach.
Prohibited:
| Why | |
|---|---|
| Asking us to show the Google review option only to satisfied customers | Review gating. Prohibited by Google. Can get your profile suspended |
| Offering a discount, gift, free item or any benefit for a Google review | Incentivised reviews. Prohibited by Google |
| Posting reviews about your own business, or asking staff, family or friends to | Fake engagement. Prohibited by Google |
| Posting negative reviews about competitors | Prohibited by Google, and potentially defamatory |
| Using our AI drafting tool to mass-produce review text | Creates a detectable pattern that can result in reviews being removed across many businesses at once, including yours |
| Presenting AI-drafted text as a review the customer did not write or approve | Fabrication |
What is permitted, and encouraged: asking every customer for feedback, equally, regardless of how happy they are. That is the entire design of the product.
2. Your business page
Prohibited: impersonating another business or brand; using a name, logo or branding you have no right to; representing yourself as a bank, government body, payment service or telecom operator; linking to malware, phishing or unlawful content; publishing obscene, hateful, defamatory or unlawful content.
We screen new business pages for brand impersonation and may suspend a page within minutes where we believe it is being used to deceive.
3. Customer data
Prohibited: using contact details customers gave you through Drishti for marketing, promotional messaging or any purpose other than resolving their experience; selling or transferring that data; collecting data you have no lawful basis to collect.
4. Platform integrity
Prohibited: submitting false feedback about your own business; manipulating scan or response counts; automated or scripted use of the customer page; probing or circumventing security; attempting to access another business's data; reselling access without a written agreement.
5. Enforcement
Depending on severity we may warn you, disable a feature, suspend the account, or terminate it. Where the breach involves review manipulation we may also be required to inform Google.
We will tell you what we believe you did and give you a chance to respond, except where immediate action is needed to prevent harm.
6. Reporting
To report misuse of a Drishti business page: contact@fostron.in, or the report link in the footer of any business page.
